Massive Breakthrough in Hunt for Charlie Kirk’s Shooter

The investigation into the tragic assassination of Charlie Kirk has taken a major step forward as authorities announced the recovery of the weapon believed to have been used in the shooting.

Kirk, the 31-year-old activist and founder of Turning Point USA, was fatally shot during a Q&A session at Utah Valley University. The shocking incident has left the nation stunned, with a manhunt now underway for the person responsible.

Rifle Discovered Near Campus

Law enforcement officials confirmed they found a high-powered bolt-action rifle, wrapped in a towel, in a wooded area close to the university. Forensic teams are working to match the weapon to the bullet that struck Kirk. Alongside the rifle, investigators also recovered ammunition and other physical evidence, including palm prints, footwear impressions, and forearm marks.

Person of Interest Identified

The FBI has released images of a person of interest described as a male, college-aged, wearing dark clothing, sunglasses, and a hat. Authorities believe the shooter gained access to a rooftop to carry out the attack before fleeing into nearby wooded areas.

To speed up the investigation, a reward of up to $100,000 has been offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the shooter. Despite initial detentions of a few individuals, no one has yet been charged, and the primary suspect remains at large.
