It started with a note tucked neatly under our windshield wiper. In bold, tidy handwriting, it read: \u201cONE CAR PER HOUSE!\u201d At first, I laughed it off, assuming it was a joke or some overzealous neighbor trying to play traffic cop. Both of our cars were parked fully on our own driveway, not blocking the sidewalk, not touching the street. We didn\u2019t think much of it. That is, until three days later, when the neighbor herself came knocking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
She stood there in a pastel pink cardigan, a matching headband, and crisp white capri pants, smiling like she was doing us a favor.
